Origins

I started building touring bike racks 25 years ago by hot-forming aluminum rods, milling the components on a lathe, and assembling each piece myself. I then tested them on 25,000 km of cycle touring across Europe.

During ten years of cycling adventures, I explored all of Italy and Europe, from Milan to Lapland and then all the way down to Stockholm; from Stockholm to Helsinki via Vardo Vadso in Norway (the last cities on the northern border with Russia), up to Brittany, and by ferry to Ireland and then on to Poland, Slovakia, the United Kingdom...
